What is Therapy with Animals?

Therapy with animals is an innovative approach, merging therapy into the natural and animal environments, appropriate for children 6 years and older. We welcome teens, young adults, and millennials to enter a safe, supportive, and judgement-free zone, where they naturally learn and grow.

Through interactive activities with animals sensitive souls develop effective emotional regulation and communication, coping and social skills, communication, and social skills and gain feelings of self-mastery. Our goal is for them to leave our sessions standing taller, communicating assertively, setting healthy boundaries, and believing in themselves.

Why Therapy with Animals?

Animals have partnered with humans for hundreds of thousands of years. Through this co-evolution, they developed the innate ability to read and reflect back our physical, emotional, mental, and energetic states. Animals also live in an emotionally regulated state the majority of the time and invite us to join them in this calm place. Working with them as mutual partners in the therapeutic process deeply enhances the therapy experience.
